Even though this is an irrational thought, the fact that this thought came up means that if I don’t do this and he dies than it will be entirely my fault.”

I remember my school psychiatrist saying that I might have OCD, then I chuckled and said “Yeah, have you seen my room?”.
Turns out she was spot on lol. Tbf I knew what intrusive thoughts were, I just didn’t have a word for it.
