Maybe according to tinder. In reality that’s pretty damn average.

Once upon a time, the French devised a brilliant device for just suck an occasion. Tall wooden structure, big heavy sharpened blade, used a lot of gravity.
Well that’s a shitty thing to say
However, it was pretty jarring when I heard them play a song I distinctly remember hearing on the radio as a kid riding in the back of the van getting dropped off for 1st grade (or some such young age)
Shit, I remember tuning in to KLOS (So Cal classic rock) a while back and being super confused as to why they were playing Nirvana. As Bob Dylan said, “The times, they are a-changin”
Of all the crap that comes out of the dipshit-in-chief’s mouth, the one thing I really wish he would’ve followed through on was deporting Elmo.
Don’t get me started on XM/Sirius/whatever
Most stations, despite a live DJ (I think), play the same 40-50 songs all day everyday, often on the same timetable. So if you heard say Free Bird at 2pm, you’ll hear it the following day at the same time within 20ish min. And I’d imagine every station is like this.
It came free in my truck for a year, sweet. The only reason I kept it was because I was able to keep swinging the $6/month thing, and I really only want to tune into the Dead channel whenever I please, and only because Lemieux has an excellent rotation of live shows. But even they play the same studio cuts at the same time of day. If it weren’t for the fact that I’m still rebuilding my music server, I’d likely have dropped them, but still, any mainstream radio service is pretty much poopy.

Maybe if you’re Mormon or bathing in it
Eh, call it a boneappletea moment. Lion’s share.
These teachers are just teaching from the same cloth they were taught from.
The teaching goals in this system are to teach obedience, not information. It’s highly useful when training the next generation of factory workers, not thinking individuals. The teachers are teaching a mindset.
And it varies from school to school, locale to locale. It depends on what the admin views as productive and necessary, almost like a culture in a sense, and is the difference between an inner city school vs a private elite school.
So apparently around Los Angeles there’s a supposed begging “cartel”, wherein some of the folks who beg at stoplights and freeway off ramps are actually working for an organized ring. The way it was explained was that this group takes the lionshare of their donations and offer protection, food, and safe sleeping areas. I don’t know how true this is, but I’ve heard it from quite a few unrelated people, one of which being a cop, so either there’s some truth to it or it’s a very elaborate hoax to get people to stop giving beggars money.
They more just want to see people suffer, “for the lulz.”
I have a family friend who moved to Idaho to be around more like-minded people, as they put it. She thinks everything going on is comedy, and is getting a kick out of watching people lose their stuff over what Fox says isn’t happening. Her and her husband have their heads buried so far up their asses it’s insane. She also conveniently forgets her kids are half Hispanic (their bio dad is Mexican), and then wonders why they tell her to go fuck herself.
It’s definitely Willy Wonka’s American branch factory
Gamma ray, plutonium, same difference.
