    I recommend anyone who hasn’t to read the posts of some anti-psychiatry and disability rights activists on, say, Tumblr (if they can stomach it). The USA has always been inhumane to folks with disabilities. There was significant abuse well before the re-election of Trump.

      The USA has always been inhumane to non-rich, non-white people. If you’re rich and white, you get treated pretty decently if you have a disability.
