From 2026-27 through 2037-38, Prime Video is expected to broadcast national NHL regular-season games on Wednesday nights and carry select early-round playoff series in Canada.

I am of the very strong opinion that if any public funding for a sports arena is used then every game there must be broadcast to the people who paid for it for free. Bare minimum it should be broadcast over the air for the locals. But these franchises would have you believe that even that is an extremist position. As if seeing only home games of your local team would make you not want to pay to see any other games.
