Now that you say it, the concern makes sense. I can understand how it could be concerning, behavioral issues are a common reason for neglect and abuse.
I realized how easy it could be to ignore him if I didn’t put equal effort on my end into solving the problem, so I’ve decided to show him that if it’s good enough for me, it’s good enough for him. I even eat in the bathroom with him (eating from the seat at the bathroom counter). The only part of the night I’m not in the bathroom is when I’m sleeping, cooking, and smoking a bowl
