Does it count as building the web if I worked manufacturing the AOL disks that plagued everyone’s mailbox?
I learned the first bits of HTML by editing an index.html file from an AOL disk and customizing it to be my own homepage. We didn’t even had home internet back then. So yeah, it counts.
Sorry to say, that was more like the initial wave of enshitification.
