Hello, friends of Hexbear. Parra here (from the bad comics I sometimes do around here). I’ve been doing this work for the last month and a half or so. It’s based on some priests who made something similar in the recent past. Its me reading the names of all the (identified) victims of genocide in the gaza strip who are of 0 to 12 years of life. 0 means not yet 1 year old. It’s more than 14k names and is not complete (many missing), but it’s the best list around from the friends at  https://data.techforpalestine.org/docs/killed-in-gaza/. They add more names always, so check it and help them if you can.

The idea is to see how long, in hours, it takes to read the names to generate some awareness of the scope of the genocide.

I read the names of the children and the ages in portuguese.  Aside from the age in Portuguese, it’s understandable in English or other languages (I don’t know Arabic, so my pronunciation is off, but I don’t think this is really important).

Well, at the start I calculated 4 hours but in reallity I was way off and it took me 14 hours and half so I did in my free time.

Why 0 to 12 years? - Because Zionists say the children are all actually 16-year-olds with guns, and can you imagine a 4-year-old with guns? I can’t, so the age limit was for this reason, but of course, normal people, the United Nations, etc. consider up to around 17 as children/minors, etcetera.
