President Donald Trump says he has struck a deal to obtain diesel from Russia. It's a stunning reversal of years of U.S. pressure on Moscow over its war with Ukraine and an attempt to address high fuel prices ahead of the U.S. midterm elections.
Not enough diesel to matter to our prices, but a boon for Russia. Will probably use the money to help kill Americans too.
Isn’t there a sanction law on buying Russian fuel?
I have a more practical question: how is it supposed that diesel to be delivered if the refineries have been under pressure and the available fuel is not enough to fully supply the domestic needs?
Its simple! russia sells crude oil to India, India refines it and sells the diesel to russia, South Korea also sells some random shipments of diesel to russia, russia then sells it to the US!
Or something? I dunno. I’m confused about everything these days.

You and me both.
