    It’ll be the same. Perhaps different, cheaper battery and motor, but otherwise, the same. If it wasn’t, they would have said so.

    I wouldn’t even be surprised if it was the same car with an option to pay to unlock the same features.

        Seems like everything Tesla announces is a vague hand wave and a “trust me” of late.

        My personal feeling is that they’ve underestimated other manufacturer’s progress and are making announcements too far ahead of their ability to deliver them just to appear like they’re still competitive.

          They said they’re starting production within 77 days (H1 2025) and upgraded the lines to make it work while doing the model Y upgrade, so I don’t think this is a not happening kinda thing, it’s just a matter of what.

            Like every other announcement of something that’s %100$ definitely going to happen from this bloke, I’ll believe it when I see it.

        Because in context, that would seem like they weren’t as prepared as they should be. Instead that part of the announcement will be delayed as they are already worried about their dropping share price.
