Dual core ARM, new in 2021, its not alone: https://www.asus.com/us/laptops/for-home/chromebook/c203xa/ Intel also still has some celerons they make with dual cores right now.

ARM is cheap
They have shitty ARM too, they pull out all the stops on chromebooks.
