I suggest all congress be due 280 hours of community service a year. They themselves must complete it around their congressional duties, 40 of which must be spent washing the feet of the homeless. Oh and cap their pay at 120k a year, no stock options. These people need to be humbled once more. You serve us, not corporations.
Honestly, pay needs to be capped at their current states minimum wage imo.
Being said I also believe that all public positions should be like how the president is. Where everything is paid for by the yearly budget. I also think that all public positions should be isolated from personal finances. You are public position representing the US, you have zero need of accessing anything in your financials. I personally believe all assets should be frozen as soon as you take your seat. (or at the least put into bonds or something)
They want child labor to fill the gap in factories and service industries now that they are kicking out the browns and gays. This is so stupid, evil, short sighted, and vindictive.
Name one thing OUR ALL REPUBLICAN GOVERNMENT has done that’s positive since taking office. Anything. I’ll wait. They’re too busy going “government is broken! Elect me and I’ll prove it!” for 40 years.
The Americans that voted for him see all the people being hurt as the positive.
