    I’m so tempted to try it out, but I just really don’t like downloading a “random” APK without at least knowing if there’s a way to verify there’s nothing malicious in the app.

    Chinese or otherwise, it’s all the same. Took me forever to trust the newpipe download… I’m just too cautious I guess.

        Feeling superior for not investigating is the sign of a very smart individual.

        After all, since you know everything, there’s no reason to even try to learn.

      it’s available on Apple’s Store and Google Play at least in my region. So it’s subject to the same restrictions and oversight every other app available through those platforms is, at least.
