It’s funny how many “Linux bad” memes seem to think everything’s done through the CLI

Name something you care about. Now be honest: do you scroll past everything that spreads misinformation about that thing?

True, if there was a post on greentext declaring that your mother hates butt sex, I would feel the need to step in to correct that.

Yeah… Except it kind of is. The moment you want to do something slightly off the beaten path you’re stuck using CLI. Linux isn’t bad but I wish people were more honest about the experience, lol.

No more so than modern Windows.

Powershell commands to allow you to even make an account

Powershell commands to remove the spyware

Powershell commands to remove gamebar bloatware

          Powershell commands to activate windows

          etc, etc.

Absolutely more so than modern windows, problem is, linuxes “beaten path” is shoulder length to either side, windows has an almost two lane highway before you get there

windows is shoulder length too, its just that when you go off the beaten path on linux you have to walk through grass, and perhaps far enough dense trees, while windows is a shoulder length bridge where you have to invent flight to go past the sides
