If I were a parent, I’d probably use 2-3 sick days per year to do this with my kid. Teach them that life is about more than serving the capitalist state and all that
this is me. some of my most treasured childhood memories was after a great weekend with a blockbuster game rental that i just needed a couple more days to beat
I’ve got a toddler and I’m already planning on doing that once he’s old enough to retain the memories.
My mom would do this a few times a year with me. I loved those days. I’d help her clean the house and do chores, then we’d do something fun together. I miss her.
My mom called those “mental health days”
