I know from experience. Moving to Mac is more likely, but that comes with higher costs. And most non-tech people are deep in the M$ Office/365 and even Windows tends to be too complicated for them. Many of them can’t even follow two picture instructions, let alone move to another OS.

Yeah, I get the guilt. I, too, had it when I was unemplyoed and wasn’t financially independent.
I know a few stay at home partners/spouses and all act the same: highly demanding and think they’re better than everyone else because their partners are high earners despite never achieving anything in life. That’s why it personally gives me the ick. Kudos to anyone who is in that situation, but doesn’t act entitled.
How do people feel about stay at home spouses without kids? Is that something that is generally frowned upon?
So, a relative of my partner’s is an influencer. I thought they had a glamorous life, because they travel all around the world. Turns out they don’t even technically get paid to promote products. Their trip expenses are covered, but that’s about it. Which I find bizarre, but I guess as long as they’re young and pretty it works.
I had white-grey hair, I just like the aesthetic. It’s definitely not the same look as naturally grey hair. I would have still had it if it didn’t mean absolutely destroying my hair with bleach.

I’d say “Mexican” food sucks in most European countries. I had exactly what you had in several places here. The only thing I’ve ever had that I could call real Mexican food was the tacos I ate from a food stand made by an actual Mexican in Netherlands.
The main thing I encountered has been gatekeeping the OS itself. I.e. you have to be a Linux nerd/expert to be allowed to use Linux. I personally haven’t seen that type of gatekeeping for other OSes. It’s literally just an OS. There are dozens of distros one can choose from. There’s something for everyone. I’m sure it’s just a vocal minority, but they do exist.
Duality of Linux community. On the one hand people can be extremely helpful and nice; I’m way more likely to find a solution to a problem, niche or otherwise, for a Linux system than Windows. On the other hand the community can be unbearably toxic and gatekeep like no other.
For me the only thing I look in new phones now is camera quality, since I only take photos and video with my phone. If that was upgradeable, it would be awesome. Plus, now even Android is getting the Apple treatment this year, everything is just getting shittier.
