That’s a good point, makes what Brian was saying about Gretta even worse.

I wish fonts made the difference between uppercase i and lowercase L as clear as possible. I don’t understand why most computer fonts don’t put lines above and below the uppercase i like I think everyone is taught in school to do.

Reminds me about what they used to say about Al Gore on Fox “News”. They said he takes private jets. It’s a bad faith argument because those people then go on to deny climate change. Also he’s a former vice president, I’m sure security reasons are part of that decision. Also if those private jets allow him to be more productive in fighting climate change the net benefit of him using it may exceed the additional carbon generated by the jets.

Bannon’s opinion doesn’t matter in the same way my opinion on how to perform open heart surgery doesn’t matter because I don’t know anything about open heart surgery.
Also what’s disgusting is Spotify recently allowed Bannon’s podcast back on. That’s why I’m again calling for people to contact Spotify and complain about bringing War Room back, about Joe Rogan’s disinformation and Andrew Tate’s hate. Or consider canceling your subscription and when you cancel fill out the reason why you canceled, mention it’s because of Bannon, Rogan and Tate.

Boycott Twitter, boycott Tesla, boycott Starlink, buy stocks in SpaceX’s competitors. Keep boycotting until he’s bankrupt.

Imagine what we could achieve? Likely the money would be used more efficiently because they could donate it to non-profit companies which don’t need to pay tax.

Also I looked up the Mayo joke and found the explanations for that here: https://old.reddit.com/r/amcstock/comments/pek85m/what_is_the_ken_griffinmayo_backstory/
I didn’t know the lore behind him because I just found out about him because I was reviewing the top donor list on open secrets, I searched his name and found that article.

We’re often baffled why some people like Trump so much. It explains how he’s able (from the perspective of a supporter) feel raw, authentic and validate their concerns.
Of course we don’t like him because we study his actions, not his words and know that the “solutions” he’s proposing aren’t going to help his supporters or help anyone except perhaps the richest of the richest or rather the very wealth people within his inner circle and even then it seems like he’s not helping all of the rich or anybody because he’s hurting the economy which impacts us all no matter how rich or poor.
So I think the lesson is a politician who could evoke a similar feeling of authenticity without the divisiveness paired with real progressive solutions that will help the average American would do very well in an election and as president.

Also I’ve heard Oracle has a bad reputation when it comes to government contracts, very expensive poor quality software ripping off our taxpayers. I think they ought to be blacklisted or at-least require extra review due to their reputation. CUNY paid Oracle over $600 million and look at what that got them: https://pscbc.blogspot.com/2013/03/cuny-first-computer-system-to-aid.html. To be fair the article does claim that “The project required an expenditure of up to a billion dollars to do it right. CUNY Central offered far less. All but one of the bidders dropped out as a result”. I’m confused why it needs to be so expensive, even $600 million seems like way too much.

He’s not really leaving, he’s just going to be running things in the shadows. We must not fall for Musk’s ruse. Until he’s bankrupt or behind bars he’s still a huge threat to our country. Boycott all his companies. Sell your Tesla stock (it’s high right now I can’t predict the future but maybe it’s peaked right now), stop using Twitter if you use it. Contact pension funds and demand they divest from Tesla.
For Starlink If you think it’s the only choice for you maybe if you’re just on the edge of cell phone reception you can use a parabolic antenna to get a reliable signal for 5g internet. This will likely be lower cost than Starlink. OneWeb has a competing service but they don’t sell directly, I’m not sure how you can switch to OneWeb. Project Kuiper just launched their first satellites about a month ago. AST SpaceMobile might be an option too. If those options aren’t available to you I predict there will be more alternatives for Starlink within the coming years.

This is very chilling because it means websites will delete content. If the internet archive didn’t grab it in time it means knowledge is gone forever. An algorithm is not going to always be accurate in determining what is helpful.
Anyone else notice the weird (possibly AI?) upscaling on this picture?
