I was invited to something like a gala in grad school. I have not felt so alone and ugly since middle school. I’m not ugly, I just felt that way there.

I don’t think they “need” that. I think they like that. I also think they are frequently monsters and making things cushier for them doesn’t translate to as better off a life for the rest of us as we would like to think. In fact them being able to move money quick to buy houses and land quickly… Seems like it may drive it up for the rest of us
Well it isn’t protected from rapid deflation. In fact that seems like the point according to all the advertisements presenting it as an “investment”. Also, I’m not sure who needs to move large quantities of money across the globe. I just want to exchange money for his it services.
When blue peacock was declassified everyone thought it was an April fools joke. The British agency assured the people that they “do not joke”. Some things (particularly the things government involves itself with) should not be joked about by some people. The joke becomes sick. A king “joking” about cutting hands off is not funny for example.
They love telling us 2+2=5. Some of us love accepting that.
I haven’t heard them explaining this. Have they said that this will help the rich pay the poor, or have they dropped all pretence yet?
My old cat years ago lifted up his little paw… To grab my lip with his claw and split it open trying to pull my mouth shut.
Oh my God … he chose arms didn’t he?
“He’s a guy you can have drinks with”… Uh no? He’s 18. You cannot have drinks with him unless your a piece of tra… Well that guy can, but that’s more like peer pressuring someone you really out age
I mean, could the devil have actually won and handed him the fiddle as a gift, to confuse him into thinking he wouldn’t burn in hell when he died? That way it comes as a fun surprise
The thing that’s done the most to restore some kind of faith in me, is the fact that stories of the antichrist include people who pretend they are good Christians following him. The closest I can come to Christ is if I call most “Christians” I hear “antichrist-ians”.
This administration is an expert in fraud. After all wasn’t the president found liable civilly for it?
I believe it could cause a chilling effect … By actually icing them down.
The term incel came from a bisexual woman around 20 years ago. I think she started a support group online for it. The problem was that most of the people who wanted help, got it and left. This left… the people who would not be helped and that’s what it is. Still the original incel I believe ended up with a woman, it just so happened that she was one.
Kind of like what happened after the initial violence in the fall of the roman republic. It started with sword point power grabs, but as time went on, they stopped ever trying to get any power back into the senate, and eventually bled out so much power that we don’t even know when the last meeting was. They just became so irrelevant.
Oh they won’t produce nearly enough to do that by themselves. They will cut support to the poor to do that
I completely agree with what you said about Hitler. In fact, even worse. His stealing of the word socialism for his own purposes did major damage to the concept people had of socialism. Calling a system that exploits workers and laborers socialism, when the whole idea was to put the workers in charge, damages the idea in people’s minds.
The dissent here is acting like it’s shocking. In reality it’s horrible that a single person dissented much less four.
This isn’t about pausing payments to ongoing programs. These include completed programs. This is arguing that the US government doesn’t have to pay plumbers after the plumbing is done. Yes, this is how a corrupt real estate developer would and has done things. The SC arguing is fine and legal for the government to do it is despicable. Not surprising knowing this court and what was elected, but still despicable.
