

The chamber of commerce is not in any way part of the US government, but they take advantage of people who think they are. They are like a union but for rich people and corporations.
Edit: I guess you could argue they are part of the government as any other lobbying group, but that’s like saying that tapeworms are just a part of pork. Probably a position the US chamber of commerce would support if they thought about it.
I mean I’d believe you if you had a source. I think that’s the fulfilling thing I’d be looking for. And I mean government people on the payroll/ at parties dressed as a conference? Yeah you would have seen my edit. I acknowledge lobbying. That gold key service doesn’t mention the chamber of commerce, but yeah, they are definitely in it. Of course they would be. But they are not a part of the government itself… unless we can argue that tapeworms are a part of the pig, if the pig is lousy with them. Which is fair.
