Finally we can watch all the trailers that radical christian groups allow us to watch without interruptions!
Yes, I know. The problem is that most people see an average stat and think it‘s a universal law. That goes for life expectancy, height and even GDP per capita among other things. In reality no one is perfectly average and extremes exist everywhere.
They also lived shorter on average. Some of them still reached a very old age. The average really doesn‘t tell us that much about the extremes that existed.
Is that a recycled piece from 2023? Because we already knew that.
Wait until they learn about Youtube, TikTok and Instagram.
I noticed something was off when looking at the childish comments of the video and although it started out normally it quickly began hinting at the same anti-woke bullshit talking points they always try to apply to everything that doesn‘t match their twisted, self-enforced and ultimately self-contradictory world view. It‘s a terrible video by a terribly bitter loser who couldn‘t figure out why Ubisoft and other AAA companies are failing when it‘s spelled out for him to save his life. No idea why that even gets posted here and users are certainly only upvoting it here because they only read the title but I find it fascinating how we found the guy who could run Ubisoft even faster into the ground than it‘s current lead.
A fantastic example of why regulation can be good and is often necessary. You can‘t leave tech corporations or even most corporations on their own accord. They need a short leash or they‘re going to tear humanity apart.
From what I hear as an outsider it‘s a bunch of fucking losers for the most part. Feel free to correct me if I‘m wrong, though.
Countless dystopian novels have explored machine‘s human rights but the machines have already been granted more rights than us in our own dystopia. 💀
Well I‘m not saying you should use chromium as your main browser. In fact I think you shouldn‘t. But sometimes there is no way around it. It‘s okay to be realistic about these things.
Yes some tools do not work with Firefox. It‘s a niche but I‘ve run into it a few times just recently. For example with a gamepad enabler tool where Firefox simply won‘t be able to see your USB input.
I‘m not even pro Brave but all that ad stuff is opt-in so it doesn‘t matter as long as you don‘t want to see ads. The arguments in this thread are starting to just loop in circles. Essentially using Brave is fine if you stick to the default. There‘s no sleazy stuff if you don‘t enable it and the CEO also doesn‘t make a dime from you if that‘s something you‘re concerned about. You could of course use a different chromium browser if you want but it‘s virtually the same thing.
Sure I use that too but you should have at least one chromium based browser for certain features though.
Well yes these type of things can happen to virtually any type of complex software to anyone. Though the lacking response is concerning.
And the investor billions they eat up every month… it‘s such an obvious scam that can not pay off.
It really just highlights the growing injustice in the world and that our problems are growing too severe to solve them with personal responsibility. We need to make billionaires illegal or things with keep spiraling downwards.
I miss that and I mean more than just the Frutiger Aero aesthetics. I miss what I felt back then when opening the browser, not knowing what awaited me today but in a good way. Despite everything, tech companies promised us a digital future that wasn‘t entirely dreadful. In hindsight it was all just escapism of course and another cycle of that trend would just feel painfully cynical today. It can never be replicated. Big tech will forever be flat design at heart.
So much for the internet. We somehow managed to turn one of humanity’s greatest achievements into a hateful echo chamber we use for warfare first and then into a blackbox where inefficient AI agents communicate with each other in the most inefficient way so the planet can cook us alive even faster. God forbid just calling up a bakery to order some cupcakes.
Trumps entire success strategy can be summarized with: „claiming victories where there are none“. That‘s it. It‘s not a very clever or original strategy but that orange is clinging to it like few before him.
