What is it lacking?
Plush carpet and air conditioning. No, it’s working fine — fun for me, and a handful of others don’t seem to mind.
Obese gray male, introverted, cranky, woke but needs a nap. Enjoys solitude, old movies, long bus rides, and a good bowel movement.

That’s what I’ve been doing for a year or so…
Medium has a paywall, which tends to keep me away, but Substack pays Nazis to post there. This makes the Substack platform distasteful for those who dislike fascists.
25th Amendment, babe.
Exactly and it’s astounding — no Dems have filed impeachment papers against Trump in 2025. Al Green has said he will, but he hasn’t yet, so the total is still zero. Infuriating.
It’s not for me, but it sounds cool for those active on both sites.
Exacatactly.
I can only speak for myself, but there’s nothing the Democratic Party could do to make amends for doing nothing since the election.
If voting is allowed again — which seems an increasingly large ‘if’ — I’ll vote for a candidate who speaks to me, but never again for a Democrat just because they’re less awful than the Republican.
In addition to being cruel and stupid, much or most of what Musk and Trump are doing is illegal and/or unConstitutional. Yet no Republicans and only about three Democrats in Congress are willing to say so. This happy bipartisanship will doubtless continue after Trump drops the pretense, dissolves Congress, and cancels future elections.
If nothing stops him now, what would stop him then?
I’ve never noticed that pattern.
What, you think he’s going to ease up?
It’s Newsweek.
“Look, I know I’m too old to be president. I’ll be managing things a bit like Trump is now — heavy delegation to people I trust. The main differences is my people aren’t bloody evil. And I’ll have AOC as my VP.”
I’d vote for that.
If there’s an election.
Added ‘blister’ to my list of headline action! verbs! only bullshit sites use.
backlash, blasts, blisters, bombshell, calls out, claps back, goes viral, melts down, mind-blowing, mocks, rages, rips, scoop, skewers, slams, stuns, trolls, weighs in…
Any others?
This is shit journalism. Yeah, his name is Trump so he’s probably an asshole, but he’s living his life, which has no impact on your life or mine. He’s a private citizen, and his alleged assholery is not a public matter.
I dunno, feels fairly productive — I got three blocks out of just one thread.
This article is well-argued, well-written, and moot. Rule of law has been replaced with rule of Trump, and it’s downright quaint to pretend that precedent, illegality, or the constitution are still in play.
I sure wish you were wrong, but you’re not, damn it.
Even in a minority position, elected officeholders have a bully pulpit, and any US Congresscritter or Senator is among the most politically powerful people in America. Any one of them could call up a local TV station, ask for an interview, and they’d gladly put them on the air, and could actually say something people need to hear. They could come to a rally, post a video to YouTube. Any one of them could walk into one of the Musk-captured bureaucracies and refuse to leave until they’re arrested. Anything like that would get people’s attention, and might matter in some small but genuine degree.
That would be leadership. That would be resistance. That would be something. What Dems are doing is damned close to nothing.
Donald Trump cannot be shamed.
Also blasts, blisters, bombshell, claps back, epic self-own, goes viral, melts down, mind-blowing, mocks, rages, rips, scoop, shocking, skewers, slams, staggering, stuns, and trolls.
