They probably are internally, steam doesn’t want to have to deal with unnecessary missed expectations just because a partner talked about stuff they obviously have no knowledge of.

Less than a day later, and Steam already announced the opposite.

Well in theory, the courts, which are a separate arm of the govt. In theory.

As an Asian in Asia: I have questions about the pairing of ‘decent Chinese restaurant’ and a dish I’ve never seen in Asia before.

It’s not Alex Jones making that decision, it’s the courts

I think you mean Alex Jones won’t sell to them. But it doesn’t matter even if he wanted to, since at this point it’s effectively govt property and it’s the govt officials who decide.

Every volunteer run instance is the best instance :)

Glances at pawb.social

I’m pretty sure the conceit is that the live marine animals are forcing themselves into those orifices.

“what motivation would anyone have to do so?”
The same motivation that leads to people developing and hosting it in the first place?
Riker: Challenge accepted.

We really need a comm for commentors who aren’t lost but just plain clueless. Something like ‘c/rtfa’

Personal anecdote, having issues with mine, and the warranty claim is estimated to take a month just to get approved and the part in. Oh it’s your only vehicle? Damn, sucks to be you.

BYD support so far has not impressed me favourably. Had an issue with my new car, took it to the workshop, they took apart some stuff and agreed that a part was faulty. However they need to submit a request to HQ for approval, which will take 2 weeks. And THEN they’ll order the part, which will take ANOTHER 2 weeks. 1 month, just for a simple issue. It’s a good thing my car is working, if this was a critical issue I’d be carless for a month due to their bureaucracy.
I suspect they’ve grown way too fast for their support infrastructure to keep up with.
In case you are unaware, I’m referring to an ongoing person trolling the comics comm, it’s been an active trend for the past month or so.
Edit: This comment thread picked up 3 ppl downvoting me and upvoting the other commentor immediately. Checking the vote ids, of course it’s OP and their sibling day old accounts. Yay for vote manipulation.
What’s particularly meaningless is the comments on this article, after OP deletes their post/account in a couple days

Oh gods, the irony.
I’m stepping away from the conversation now. Thanks for keeping the conversation civil, even if we disagree.

Also at this point, it’s very clear that we’ve devolved into an argument about semantics, as I asserted a few comments ago. While I disagree strongly with your definition, I see no chance either of us will be changing each other’s mind and I have no interest in trying.
All I ask is you stop misrepresenting the community when it’s very clear that we’re talking about different things. I hope at some point you’ll see the value of having safe spaces for people, whether or not you need it yourself.

Your article is based on a false dichotomy to begin with, that politics is either ‘all human interaction’, or ‘stuff I disagree with’. You miss the common definition that most of the world operates by, where politics relates to stuff related to governance.
When your parents told you it was bed time, they used political power.
By your definition perhaps. Most of us disagree.
Everything is political.
No, you’ve changed and diluted the word to the point it’s meaningless and taken away a term that’s actually useful. You want to redefine it for yourself, sure. But stop acting as if everybody else agrees with (or is even aware of the existence of) your definition.
I’m just glad I got a tiny bit of closure for Raynor and Kerrigan before Blizzard went full enshittification
