I get it. I would still rather it just apply to gas guzzlers. Let electrics get a foot hold. To get vehicles off the road let’s embrace work from home policies again, instead of forcing everyone to commute in traffic.

Car culture does suck and ideally we could move towards urban areas being much less car dependent. I think we agree there.
Increasing the cost of new vehicles, which are already too high is only going to incentive keeping cars that produce comparatively more emissions on the road. We should be incentizing replacing old gas cars with newer electric vehicles while also working on public transportation and walkable areas where possible.
Because you’re anti car? Or what’s the resson this one makes sense compared to all the others?
It didn’t explicitly say subscription but it did say they now have ongoing server costs per user. That, to me, sounds exactly like a subscription is coming. Possibly with a “lifetime” option that will disappear when they need money again.
For apps that support it. Not even the whole Microsoft suite does.
If I remember correctly, the US version of the SNES has buttons designed to be differentiated by both sight (the four primary colors) and by touch. A and B are convex shaped while X and Y are concave. I think that’s what you’re seeing here.
Jeebus Christ the comments on that site are delusional.
I do kind of wish it had a full keyboard like the old kindle did. Tons of great IF text adventures that would almost seamlessly transfer to this format.
Hey everyone! What are the odds all the cars in this picture are all the colors you can buy cars in?! Pretty fucking weird right?
Exactly. There used to be a built in break where people could fuck off from the relentless toil.
I will preface this by saying I’m a PC gamer who also has a Switch. Wife and I were gifted this game on the Switch and I knew going in it would be a subpar experience compared to the PC. That said, my wife was really into it and watching her okay made me want to pick it up also.
No it isn’t very deep and doesn’t bring any new mechanics to the table we haven’t seen already but the presentation, even on the limited horse power of the switch was nice. It was fun to explore the castle and build up your character. The game is easy to 100% though it can be a bit tedious to track down everything. If you like the potter-verse, I think it’s a pretty good game. Watch a video, grab it on sale, didn’t expect to have your mind blown.
I look forward to a sequel assuming they can improve on some of the repetition.
I guess I’m not a real fan. I couldn’t justify re-purchasing a console that spends 80% of it’s life docked to a nice 4k OLED. If they release an OLED switch 2 within the first year I’ll hold off and get that, but I’m not going to purchase 2 switches just because they can’t get their shit together.
Looks like everything I want from Switch 2. The only question left for me is, is it OLED or is there an OLED version coming this year?
I think it looked great. More variety, bigger races, a world to play around in, etc those are all winning ideas from where I’m sitting. Adding something like wall jumps fits in the Mario universe and could add some interesting skips on courses and things. I was very excited after that trailer.
Of course now that pricing has been revealed, all of that excitement has been sucked out of the room for me. I’ve got a Steam Deck in the mail right now and that’s probably going to be it for me this next gen. Metroid 4 for the OG Switch might be my last Nintendo purchase
