Hi

Yeah I got drift in the left stick after only a year of owning my Steam Deck OLED. I haven’t bothered to replace it yet. I’ve always been very careful with my Steam Deck too.

I love that there’s a cat in the game!

Never knew much about her before today but she seems to have made a positive impact on a lot of people from what I’ve read. Rest in Peace!

I’m playing Necesse and loving it so far!!!

I’ve never played It Takes Two but SSX is a fun snowboarding game, the whole Skate franchise is super fun just to mess about with- the movement mechanics are really smooth, and whilst I didn’t personally get on with it but Bomb Rush Cyberfunk (which is a bit like Jet Set Radio,) it also seems to have a similar vibe - in terms of movement at least.
Edit: just watched a video of the part of It Takes Two you were describing and it definitely gives me SSX vibes

I genuinely thought this was a toaster at first

This is happening with a friend’s Early LCD Model Deck too. It’s definitely something to do with Bluetooth because when he has Bluetooth off nothing happens but when it’s on even if none of his controllers are on, the Deck wakes itself.

Damn- I wish LAN parties were still a thing. The vibe was unmatched

Playing Skate 2 for the first time on PS3 whilst blasting Fall Out Boy on my CD player.

Cloverpit and Balatro, as well as trying (and failing bc my WiFi sucks) to stream GTA Online and Skate to my Deck from my PC

Don’t tempt me to spend even more money on games I will forget I bought 😅

My friend has been using theirs for several years to manage their home server and for gaming. They tend to have it docked by the TV and use KDE connect and/or a trackball mouse and keyboard for server stuff and an 8BitDo controller for gaming.
They haven’t seen the need for a dedicated console since and they had been gaming on playstation for decades prior to getting a Steam Deck

Same lol should have guessed that would be too good to be true!

I’m not OP but I wanted to say that’s really cool! My dad set up a server for me and my sister when we were kids and some of my core memories from my childhood are playing Minecraft with friends.

There’s just something special about legacy console editions that modern Minecraft lacks.

Fuck cancer
I would probably get:
