I mean, you’ll be able to upgrade the usb port later, but I get your issue.
My $350 G-Shock Rangeman is better as a smart watch as my battery lasts a month of heavy use. If I want to dress up, I wear my $25 Casio F-91W silver band always gets the complements for being a nice and classic watch.
What is this?
There where no tasks running outside whatever is setup out of the box when installing jellyfin. I have recently discovered that jellyfin can delete your media if it thinks the media has been removed…
Wierdest logic by the devs.
Apparently is a known bug 🙃
The only WoW song worth its salt is “The internet is for porn”
Finally caught it! It was Jellyfin stupid ass deleting my media!
I don’t have that plugin from what I can tell, and I did not install it manually either. What should I try changing the PUID and GUID to?
I may try that at some point but work keeps me pretty busy so it may take me a few weeks before I can try.
Not even on reboot, it just get’s deleted somehow, been happening for the past couple of months and I haven’t been able to figure out why yet. I posted all about it here (https://lemmy.world/post/32756942) if you are interested in reading about it.
lol, yeah. Gitea is next on the list, but I don’t have much more I’m afraid, Immich and Nextcloud are critical apps for me, so if it isn’t gitea or minecraft, then I might just setup a new server out of an old laptop to be my Jellyfin server and migrate my library there.
The thing was I have never deleted them, one day they just started getting deleted by themselves and nothing I do gets them to stay in the drives.
Ok, I’ll take a look at this and report back if I spot something.
UPDATE: So I checked on this, but I don’t have a pool per se, I will say my drive configuration is as Mirror with sda and sdb drives seemingly side by side.
Interesting, I wonder if my Syncthing server could be the culprit. They are on different pools but I’ll turn it off and see if it does anything.
UPDATE: Files still got deleted :(
Don’t think so, but how can I make sure? Looking at the ACL rules I see that @owner (me), @group, and user (me) are all set to full control. However I also see two ‘@everyone’ in the list, one set to modify and the second set to custom (screenshot attached) .
I am also attaching a screenshot of my main datasets screen here as I see that my Dataset Space Management is set to a total allocation of 1.16TB and I am not sure if this is the issue
EDIT: The Jellyfin SMB is still labeled plex media as it used to be Plex before I switched.
I don’t see anything in the logs that I can gather, but how can I make sure I’m looking at the right log so I can copy it here?
Yeah, I’ve seen some other alternatives (including Java) but I don’t have time to search them all.
Honestly is rare to find a feature phone that runs android around here as most run some other java based software.
In any case, here are 3 (although there are more):
Of course it’s a scam. But its also a money grab and a power grab. Google is completely gone from “do no evil” to “heil Trump”
What’s worse, is that I do self hosting and almost all self host apps are open source on the android side, so now I may loose several of those apps if they don’t want to sign or are banned by Google.
