I didn’t say it would be trivial but this is the US government. They can absolutely achieve this if desired.

They can absolutely get him back, these are just games for the courts.
This is foolish. People need to stay and fight, or go into hiding. A cushy, public position at a university in Canada won’t protect you if things go that far. Canada has little to no bargaining power against the US.
If they want you, they’ll get you one way or another.
Oh it’s extremely stupid but yeah I have a similar opinion here.
Let them rise… bring it on!
Sorry I feel like that came off a little more dismissive than I intended. I’ll check out the podcast, it sounds cool. I fucking hate war and I love unraveling the bullshit the powerful use to trick us into thinking it’s in our best interest.
I mean I know he touches on related themes but I’ve not seen much that is explicitly about this stuff—though to be fair he was living on another continent in a different time, so it’s natural that his interests would differ from mine.
Marxists always want me to read some 800 page book. That might be fine within your own circles but do you really expect people to put in that much work to understand an ideology they don’t already endorse?
If you’ve got a shorter essay or podcast or something I’ll check it out.
I’d be way more into Marx if he wrote about these topics lol
Well that settles it as far as the artist but I’m not sure why OP posted it. From their other submissions, they seem to be a socialist.
It’s too bad because I have plenty of criticisms of Marxism and socialism according to many lemmings but there’s just nothing here to engage with. It’s completely without understanding or thought.
I can’t tell if this is meant to be satire or not.
I just don’t think electric vehicles do enough given the scale of the crisis we’re experiencing, and I think placing economic pressure in car drivers is bound to reduce driving somewhat. Since this is one of or perhaps even the most damaging behavior in American society right now, that can only be a good thing. It will also increase demand for car alternatives which are desperately needed.
Is it the perfect policy or the one I would have pushed for? No, and it’s bound to be economically destructive as well, but it’s still pushing things in the right direction overall.
Yes, cars undeniably make the world a much worse place and I am in favor of sin taxes. It’s also a fairly easy tariff to avoid by keeping or repairing an older vehicle—or even better, don’t drive one at all for those who can avoid it.
Stick with this one you coward. This is his only policy I approve of so far.
Maybe pixelfed? Never used it but I think it’s more or less designed for this purpose, and it’s on the fediverse.
It is but it’s commonly read in the US. But maybe this applies to the English too. I have less direct experience there.
But I guess it is a bit more reasonable to remind foreign readers of Trump’s party affiliation since presumably the English spend at least a little less time thinking about US politics than we do.
You vastly underestimate the ignorance of the American people.
Wait why didn’t they turn it on? When they upgraded I assumed this issue would be fixed.
First, pinworms only cause mild illness. My point was your child won’t die from eating random plants with a few exceptions that are easy to learn.
Second, pinworms are not spread by animals, only human to human. I don’t think eating plants is likely to be a vector.
Not really a thing in my area, excepting aquatic plants. Can’t speak to the whole world.
Then go hide if that’s what you think. My point is Canada is not much safer than the US.
