I like to play rom hacks, and sure enough, most of them want you to join their Discord to get information about any upcoming updates or what the mod author is making next. I hate it to absolute death.
Just take the humans out of the equation, completely, and let the earth take care of itself.
I believe I saw where you hear that people want small phones, they make them, and then they sell poorly. So, to the company at least, it doesn’t look like people want the smaller devices.
Now, I saw some comments in here about the smaller devices usually being less robust than their normal/pro counterparts, and that could also be a major reason small phones don’t sell.
Might want to look into Legcord, because it is definitely more than just a wrapper, friend.
I’m with you. I install Legcord now so that I don’t have to install that shitty application on my actual computer. I highly recommend it for those communities that refuse to use anything else!
Hey, OP! I was recently gifted a desktop PC, with one spare drive, and 2 drives I had in storage for “bad sectors”. I popped the old ones in (because I have a backup) and downloaded and installed TrueNAS Scale.
TrueNAS’ web UI is BEAUTIFUL and very informative at a glance. What I was NOT prepared for, was the permissions. Like you, I started out with a Synology, because I didn’t know anything. It did what it needed to do, and that was fine. I use Plex and Jellyfin, and the new desktop had a 1660 Super in it, so you bet your ass I wanted to put that to use!
TrueNAS isn’t as easy as Synology, and like I said, the permissions thing really threw me for a loop because of how the wording on things is. To me, it isn’t in english so to speak. I learned a few tricks here and there, so if you need any help, feel free to reach out and I’ll try to help! :)
It was pretty good! I hope you enjoy it when you do get to play! :)
While I really appreciate you for helping, the fact that these were part of the core application, then taken away by the developers so that we rely on third parties to bring back, is my biggest gripe with the browser. The options were there, and they took them out. I would rather just go back to Firefox than deal with an always changing UI, and removal of options. :/
I have a feeling you might be one of those that turned their automatic updates off after an issue where they really, really fucked the UI up on Macs, or something like that. Or you might be a person who doesn’t like the auto updates anywhere.
I turned mine off for awhile, but don’t want to catch anything when a new FF release rolls out, so I turned them back on, especially since I rarely use the browser anymore due to said changes with no user options.
I’m on the latest version on Windows, Linux, and Mac. The option is gone, I’m afraid.
I saw in their notes for the previous updates about the workspaces, which essentially said “workspaces are a major part of Zen, so you are no longer allowed to NOT use them”. When it was clearly a viable option before. So much for being customizable!
I really don’t need to. I have seen these people in real life. They will agree with whatever the orange mussolini says, polls be damned.
I respectfully disagree to the fullest extent.
Zen was amazing when they first came to light, but they keep changing how workflows work, and it destroyed the workflow I had.
For example, I am a browser minimalist. I don’t need workspaces, and I don’t have thousands of tabs open, because that’s insane to me, personally. I now have to see the ugly Default Workspace at the top of my tab bar every time I go to open or switch tabs. This was an option before, so it was perfectly fine. They’ve taken that option away, which is very much not okay. Options are good. They also messed around with the New Tab icon, making it to where I couldn’t move it to the bottom where I prefer it to be, instead putting it at the top, which is extra movement needed to get to the top… They later added that back in, but again, why the fuck are you just willy nilly taking options away from people? It should just be an OPTION.
Anyway, I’ve had so many headaches with their approach to changing workflows that I don’t even recommend it to anyone any longer. I’m sure I’m just the crazy person who wants some of the offerings, while not being FORCED to use some of the others. :)
It’s because they’re stupid, live in a fantasy world, and have the thinking capacity of a toddler.
Have you heard of Crow Country? Might scratch your itches!
Def Jam: Fight for NY, dot hack series (originals and G.U.), King’s Field 4, Monster Rancher 4, Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition, and quite a few more. I can’t look at the games I have installed just yet, but I could always recommend more if anyone is interested. :)
Forgive me for asking, but why not run it on the desktop so you can get better settings (especially that FPS) and then stream it to the deck?
What a sad little man.
Same here. I am just so happy to see something different in the browser space. Couldn’t come at a better time!
