Someone said in another thread he exhibits signs of ASD, and I can’t stop thinking about that, especially knowing that that has significant symptom overlap/comorbidity with other things, ADHD, for example.
Who’s running the country? Miller?

Maybe. Either way, they seem genuinely distressed like the emotions have mastered them, rather than the other way around and I get that because I’ve been there. I see it a lot on Lemmy and IRL. Sometimes we just need to get away from media and people, spend time being still, silencing the chaos, doing some deep self-Reflexion, and doing whatever real self-care (rather than distraction /doom scrolling) is within our means. Can you imagine if a few heads of state did that for a weekend?! We’d be closer to world peace than we’ve been in a century.
They got what they wanted. They derailed the thread and made it about themselves, rather than the actual victims of genocide the post referenced.
Matthew 12:24-26
This is what billionaires are paying him to do.
Yeah that’s no good. That’s a slick way to pay workers less.
This is why essential services and goods are nationalized.
No. You don’t get to throw a tantrum because your feelings are hurt and you’re incapable of reflecting on our complicity in war crimes.
Post the article in a thread. I’m sure many of us will have plenty to say, if it posts in our feeds.
Sir, between the two of us, only one of us has been rude and insulting. I’d welcome any url of any thread where I’ve done that.
Secondly, isn’t this the red herrings and whataboutery people upset with any criticism of their exceptionalim constantly bang on about?
The article posted mentions the United States. You are free to post articles about other states’ complicity and start that conversation in a thread about the state/s you choose.

35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,
36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
25 And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
26 He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?
27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
28 And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.
29 But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?
30 And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
31 And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
32 And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.
33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,
34 And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
35 And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.
36 Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?
37 And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.
38 Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.
39 And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus’ feet, and heard his word.
40 But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.
41 And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:
42 But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.
Adultery is certainly abuse, if nonconsensislly risking the partner’s health and life due to STI.
They recognize it. They just want to protect themselves while others take risks.
Much like … Everyone else.

Jordan, we know each other better than that.
That doesn’t preclude ASD, ADHD. And I’m not saying he has that, just that I’m mulling the possibility.
