I was thinking if I already have a key file on the remote and local servers then I may not need shh installed on the docker container to do this setup.

I currently have a alpine linix VM where I had one time SSH’d into the remote server to exchange logon keys.

This means I can run my scripts without username and login credentials I just need to point to a key file instead.

I might be overthinking it like you said.

Though essentially I am trying to build a docker image of this same setup and can see I will need llfp and cron. Just not sure how to handle the key file at this point.

I think a good chunk of us on here see the world how it could be, so we go everywhere seeing all the current issues and problems all the time, and imagining how to fix them.

I can hear the questions from grandma asking how to find the dial pad after she accidentally deletes it from the homescreen.

Other then that this reminds me of TV shows or moves that had video telephones in homes mounted on walls similar to this. You would make a call and their face would appear on the screen, you could even broadcast to all screen in the house.

I know it’s not your question, but have you checked out Bitwarden or the alternative Selfhosted Vaultwarden. Bitwarden supports passkeys and vault syncing, and if you are offline you can still access your vault.
