That golden light would look great on my water bed and lava lamp collection.
Maybe you and I can agree that a wall of Trucks and Trailers like this should never be allowed?
Hwys really should not need to be any wider that what’s shown in this photo.
Trucks and trailers on the right always, cars in the middle, and passing on the left.
Or for our UK friend’s. Lorries on the left always, cars in the middle, and passing on the right.
I present to you hwy 401 in Toronto Ontario Canada. 18 lanes at its widest point. (Just south of Pearson International Airport)

It details the toxic behind-the-scenes world of children’s television programs from the 1990s to the 2000s, with a special focus on Dan Schneider’s tenure as a producer and showrunner at Nickelodeon.

Their argument was the links were being summarized and users were not visiting the Newspapers website.
So social media sites blocked all links of Canadian news, then Newspapers cried foul after a drop in traffic.
Funny enough when you see a summarized link, such as ones that show a picture and maybe a sentence, the content shown in that summary is directly controlled by the site being linked.

Funny story though, web extracts that become visible when you share a link for example on a social media platform or even through a text message are actually “controlled” by the source website.
This means the short summary that can range from a sentence to a few sentences is actually completely in the hands of the source website and is not actually “scrapped” when the link is shared.
NarrativeBear@lemmy.worldto Electric Vehicles@slrpnk.net•Canadians want more EV options, less costs7·15 days agoYes please! Also give me transit!!
I want high-speed rail, trains, subways, trams, streetcars, and buses, all electrified please!
I want someone to drive me around, I don’t want to be a peasant having to drive myself around all the time.
I think this has something to do with how networking works.
When connected wireless to my car with a VPN active on my phone, my phone won’t connect to my cars WiFi network to initiate the android auto connection.
When connected by USB with VPN active on my phone it’s not issue, android auto connects and my VPN is active.
I remember seeing someone smarter explain this a lot better online somewhere then I can at the moment. But simply trying to connect wireless with a VPN active will not work.

NarrativeBear@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•You probably don't remember these but I have a questionEnglish7·30 days agoThere are AUX cables that have a transmit and recive switch. You can use this to transmit the output of your iPod through AUX to a built in bluetooth receiver in your car or other device.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/UGREEN-Bluetooth-Transmitter-Headphone-Connection/dp/B0D12MFCBG
Just make sure what you choose has the transmitter function as most cheaper ones only have the receiver function (for use in a car stereo for example).

And I bet rape must be happening in some of those ICE “holding facilities”.
