  • 5 was fun. The gameplay was way better than 4. The biggest issues, imo, were making 2/3 of the game “follow MC due to being vaguely suspicious” and bringing back Cortana, even though it was a rampant version of the original.

The positives were Evil Cortana was the best best villain 343 has had, the Guardians were a great replacement for the Halo rings, and the gunplay was fun again. Also, Warzone was awesome.

  • Having Jon only excites me in that he could get things done using his popularity. Biden got a lot done, but he used backroom deals and clever policy negotiations. But he’s one of the worst communicators of our generation. And his stubbornness may have lead to Trump (no guarantees Trump would have lost, but Biden almost guaranteed he won).

Honestly, I would have been excited to have Biden a second time over Trump, and I don’t love him to begin with.

Hell, at this point if Trump dropped dead and we somehow got Romney as president instead of the nut jobs in the maga party, I’d be pretty stoked.

TLDR: I want anyone who can move us back towards okay.

  • XIII isn’t in my top 5 FF games. But the interpersonal dynamic is the absolute best in the series. The scene where Sahz discovers why his son was branded is one of the most impactful moments in gaming. Two of the most cheerful characters in the franchise, suddenly broken.

I don’t love how restricted the game is at the beginning. But each of their personal stories are magnificent, usualy leading to their Eidolon awakening.

  • How much baggage do you have to address? Evil Cortana, Guardians, and Prometheans. The rest can be managed around.

If Infinite didn’t have to wrap up the previous games, it wouldn’t have that stink on it. But then it would have had even less substance. And the shitty open world wouldn’t have been any better.

It would have been better if they just used Cortana and the Guardians to wrap up the Promethean saga. But then they’d still have to write a decent story, which apparently they are incapable of.

  • I wondered this too. But Rogan is just first in followers. MeidasTouch was first in views. Also, this was only for YouTube, which according to the article is the top podcast service now, which is hard to believe considering WHY podcasts have taken over.

The data showed MeidasTouch amassed 124 million views in that period, with Rogan scooping the second spot with 39.2 million views.

I think it helps that MeidasTouch has much MUCH shorter episodes. Like, any of Rogan’s 3 hour videos counts as 1 view. Hours watched would probably be different.

On Spotify, the story is way different too. I guess that makes sense to my other point of why podcasts are popular. It’s a lot easier to just listen to an imbecile ramble in the background for 3 hours than to watch it.

On Spotify, however, Rogan remains king, taking the number one spot, while MeidasTouch secured the 73rd spot on the audio streaming company’s U.S. podcast charts.
