How would any other party get any time on a national platform to campaign, the way Democrats and Republicans do? I mean, we do have more than those two parties; but they’re never included in big debates or really given any attention at all. It’s the arcade-ified evolution of System Shock, IMO.

It has a lot of the same mechanics and ideas; but it’s all an inch deep instead of having any real depth.

As an RPG hybrid, it kinda sucks. As a straight up FPS, with action as the primary feature, compared to the contemporaries at the time is pretty good. Similar to how Fallout 4 sucks ass as an actual RPG, but is a pretty great FPS.

At least games make sense, as the graphics get better. Though in some cases, the compression is also better. Like PS5 games are smaller on average than their PS4 versions, even though they have higher resolution textures in most cases, just because the PS5 has better compression/decompression tech.

I’m still super fond of the Net Yaroze development PlayStations. This would be cool to have, but I’m not sure what you could do with it.

To be fair, I had some of those complaints with the instances initially being linked. It clicked when RIF linked to Lemmy.World in its final update message. It didn’t have dumbass hoops to go through, just a straight forward email, username, password, you’re in system like the first few things I was seeing. That and many people were over explaining it and just confusing the hell out of people.
