At some point needlessly banning words just empowers bigots by letting them claim larger and larger parts of the vocabulary. Shouldn’t we try to reclaim words instead, and deprive the words of their power? Just “banning” words, especially in cases such as this one when the connection to master/slave is pretty weak, actually increases the negative power of the words and I’d argue empowers people with malicious intent

What I’m really concerned about is that Microsoft will do everything in their power to smash the current games industry to bits and then rule the ashes. The games industry will end up smaller and worse off, but Microsoft still makes more money since they control a larger share even if the pie shrinks and shrivels.

The theory is that slight inflation encourages putting money to use, either by consuming it or saving in a bank account (where the bank can lend it out) or investing it etc. That’s why some inflation is generally considered desirable.
NOOOOOOO NOT THE FUCK W*RD!

They were perfectly capable of realising it with a fair price like everyone else
Says who? Do you know if the Devs can afford that or whether the mobile market is even likely to be profitable for them without help from netflix?
I love that about C#. It’s safe and managed, but if you need the unsafe features for performance etc, then they’re available. It’s the best if both worlds, imo.
