ShimmeringKoi [comrade/them]@hexbear.netto Memes@lemmy.ml•The perfect meme after the libs came out on my posts yesterday 🤣English131·5 days agowhy are you so mad?
Literally i will, they just built a new water park and the cops won’t execute me on the street like they do here in the US
ShimmeringKoi [comrade/them]@hexbear.netto Memes@lemmy.ml•There would be a lot more informed lemmy liberal users if they would just pick up a book sometimeEnglish21·11 days agoOne problem with that presumptuous line of thinking:, liberals are not most likely to take our side: any cursory breeze though a history book (or look at the news) will show that they just take fascism’s side while sanctimoniously lecturing leftists.
This is like when liberals complain about leftists “splitting the movement” by daring to have standards. There is no splitting, you are not in the movement. Fedjacketing people for pointing out that genocide enablers aren’t comrades won’t magically make you a leftist.
ShimmeringKoi [comrade/them]@hexbear.netto Memes@lemmy.ml•Liberals parroting liberal media: Churchill was a hero!English12·11 days agoThis thread is going towards the conclusion that you’ve adopted a definition of imperialism that is so broad as to be unworkable, because it treats all political violence as being the same thing.
ShimmeringKoi [comrade/them]@hexbear.netto Memes@lemmy.ml•Liberals parroting liberal media: Churchill was a hero!English18·11 days ago? imperialism is when a country or group exerts power?
ShimmeringKoi [comrade/them]@hexbear.netto Memes@lemmy.ml•Liberals: NATONATONATONATOEnglish11·13 days agoA liberal is someone who supports every social movement except the current one and opposes every war except the current one. I know you know this, but i suspect there will be commenters who need to see it.

ShimmeringKoi [comrade/them]@hexbear.netto Memes@lemmy.ml•Zionists, the lot of emEnglish11·13 days agoAh yes, the devious Chinese have somehow killed a shitload of people (how many people? Millions? Who’s to say, you won’t even guess) without leaving any evidence behind, which we all know is totally possible to do in the age of smartphones. You’re grasping at straws and desperately avoiding questions, and now your ultimate argument is “Well you can’t prove it isn’t happening!” Which is the last resort of a whiny religious fundamentalist who knows they’ve lost the argument. I gave you pertinent questions, and all you could give me in return is Qanon-level bullshit about an impossbile secret genocide and “trust me bro”. No investigation, no right to speak.
ShimmeringKoi [comrade/them]@hexbear.netto Memes@lemmy.ml•Zionists, the lot of emEnglish2·13 days agoSee? You can’t even get one response into addressing the inconsistency without backpedaling to do it. You went from "China is committing a genocide, (“fact”) to “someone is accusing China of crimes against humanity (allegation of a different thing)”. Not even getting into HRW as a source because that conversation will never ve resolved: how does it not give you pause that your very best sources literally do not even say what you claim they do?
Also, and this is the big one, the sources in this article are all just either nameless anecdotes I’m supposed to take at face value, or HRW employees talking in vague terms about the spooky horror and the need to “hold China accountable”. I’ll dig through the actual report later, but i suspect I’ll find more of the same, because if they had more compelling evidence they’d probably just cite it in the article. It’s giving me “Hamas beheaded 40 babies” flashbacks. Given the lack of anything verifiable in what you’ve sent, id like to know what you think of a couple discrepancies between what you say is happening in Xinjiang, and what we know is happening in Palestine:
-In Gaza, we’ve seen absolute information control, censorship and the deliberate slaughter of journalists. Even so, thousands of images and videos have gotten though. Meanwhile, Xinjiang is open to tourists and travel vloggers. Where is the evidence of atrocity?
-Until Israel collapsed the medical reporting system of Gaza, we had access to a great number of recorded deaths and a documented death toll. Why not the same in Xinjiang? Even if you want to say “oh, because China is keeping them all a secret” then why isn’t there even a western estimate?
-Where are the Muslim majority countries publically condemning China like they’re condemning Israel? Why hasn’t Yemen launched a missile at Shenzen port?
-And the big question, the one the propagandists don’t even try to address but just allow the reader’s own prejudices to provide the answer: Why? Why do a genocide at all?
Look, I could go on but TLDR show me a dead uyghur
ShimmeringKoi [comrade/them]@hexbear.netto Memes@lemmy.ml•Zionists, the lot of emEnglish3·15 days agoI always ask these people if they “deny” white genocide in Africa and Saddam Hussein’s nukes.
ShimmeringKoi [comrade/them]@hexbear.netto Memes@lemmy.ml•Zionists, the lot of emEnglish3·15 days agoThen why does the UN say it’s not? Hell, forget the UN, why is it that I can’t go a day without seeing physical evidence and pictures of the Gaza genocide, but after ten years of supposed extermination, in a region where far more people have phones and internet access, nobody has seen a single dead Uyghur?
Also it was made de facto illegal to protest the coronation iirc

Tfw you were born too late to get blown up in Korea
Man i really do feel for people from outside the imperial core who get pulled in by the world’s biggest PR machine. Living here and seeing it happen is like living inside a lobster trap. Hi, nice to meet you, I’m afraid I have some bad news
