It is an example of something you do not need to experience first hand to have a valid opinion on. Outsider perspectives are valuable too.

You saying anyone that has an opinion on murder has to also have murdered?

Yeah I prefer latex myself. I will not be answering questions.
When you’re watching a video and suddenly para-diddle-diddle para-diddle-diddle
They actually didn’t ask, just stated modern audio mixing was shit.
Googly eyes always make me laugh. There’s a realtor in my area that has been advertising for decades on billboards, and sometime early 2025, some hero took extremely large googly eyes and stuck them over his picture. I have no clue what glue they used but they’re still up there.
This is how I found out from my mom that my family apparently has generational beef with theirs. My grandpa apparently loved terrorizing the guy’s dad because they were assholes and my mom ended up competing with him in real estate for a little while.
Thank you googly eyes.

Thanks for clarifying! I agree!

Do you mean like a physically opaque package or one where the exact contents are obscured by randomization? There are some card games that have no randomization whatsoever in their packaging, like Fantasy Flights LCGs.
My wife and I call them unskippable cutscenes and we share ours with each other all the time. Sure we don’t always understand the details, but we do understand the passion we both have for the cutscenes we start and it’s adorable to watch as the sole audience member.

Michael Waterfox is pretty chill yeah

After playing CoQ with controller support I find similar games unplayably uncomfortable. It’s done so well that it’s shocking to look back at how the UI used to be and remember the game wasn’t designed from the ground up with controller in mind.
Another great line you’re good at this.

Hope you made it out of there okay.

I’m with you on this. If I had a company that had their very own exclusive AI trained entirely off my company’s work, that would probably be the FIRST thing I mention when the topic comes up. I’d be pretty proud of that. The lack of mention is pretty damning.
It’s supposed to read like dialogue.

It was none of those things actually. It’s impossible to objectively judge our own artworks. We can analyze it, tell others what we think are the strong and weak points, but it’s extremely common for most people, especially when it comes to art, to judge it with a much higher degree of scrutiny that we do not reserve for others.
It’s something I’ve had to work through myself, both with my art and myself as a person. And with that comes an inherent distrust of others opinions of themselves and their work, especially when it’s excessively dismissive or pessimistic.

I think your art is probably better than you think. We’re all our worst critics.
I saw one just an hour ago on twitch.
This made me snort. Thank you for sharing your unskippable cutscenes.
