That’s probably what happened. However the job description as written was kind of silly.

Back when I was still on Reddit I remember someone sharing a job posting calling for 10 years of experience in a 5 year old language. I don’t know if it was real or not but it’s typical of the crazy requirements for those jobs.

Everytime I see one of these posts I scream to myself “What did they think they were getting?!” We knew who Trump was and what he was going to do.

Same thing here. Mine is hardcore MAGA and both Senators are 100% shills. Also no one in my area cares… they all think Trump is going to do a great job and save everything. There are two Democrats in Congress from my state but neither one is capable of fighting anything. I don’t know what to do but watch it burn.

For the case of your job or school you either use what is required or you need to find another job or school. That might not be popular but it’s the reality. Other relationships don’t have that kind of pull. Maybe RCS could fix some of it but given what happened with XMPP I’m doubtful.

As the only Android user in a social group of iPhone users I felt this way too much.

The only one that is difficult to replace is Facebook. It’s still the best way to keep up with family and friends from all over. I also like Facebook Marketplace and haven’t found a substitute that is as good.

A minimal popular vote win gave him multiple wins at so many levels it’s sickening. And how the media pretends like he’s not who he is amplifies the sense it was a huge victory.

I believe all but the most hardcore MAGA believe that at some level. No one will admit it. One of my favorite childhood stories was “The Emperor’s New Clothes”. I never thought I’d live to see it happen in real life.

I’d like to believe that but assuming he dies sometime during this term or shortly after he will be deified by his base. I also have a feeling the media and history will treat him more kindly than he deserves.

If the flag were at half mast to mourn Trump’s passing and a Democratic president were being inaugurated I’m sure we’d be having a different conversation.
