Also they’ll just approve everything anyway. Gotta love the checks and balances of fascism.

Have you taken a look at DailyTxT?
They should do it immediately. What the fuck are they even doing?
It’s known as the fascist superposition.
It’s a wave function that only collapses into communist evil or capitalist freedom whenever either is beneficial to a fascist, personally.
They should state they’re not going to play the games of kleptocrats, and keep the tariffs going until “next month” or Trump takes them off the table entirely… along with a detailed, open plan to reapply and maintain them longer if he does it again.
Make the plan deterministic and dependent on Americas actions, then stick to the plan (e.g. each flip flop will result in a permanent tariff of x % that Canada will never remove as long as this admin remains). Give businesses predictability and reliability.
It’s also a way to remove all the ethical civil servants that would not go along with martial law and all else that facilitates the coup.
They don’t want whistleblowers or witnesses.
They don’t want criminal lawyers. They want criminal lawyers.
The middle ground for Russia is throwing your problems out a window. Maybe Canada and Mexico should give that a try?
Yeah fuck that guy
They literally implied that by including “outside the US”, otherwise the inclusion of those words are entirely meaningless?
Sigh. The Australian federal election is a couple of months away. The WA premier is a member of the center-left party (same as federal) but of a conservative state, dependent on fossil fuels. He is a fossil fuel industry cuck (e.g. Manchin), and would likely be better off with a conservative federal gov.
I can’t help but feel this is a tactic to draw attention to Australia and create geopolitical issues for the current PM, along with divisive soundbites for Murdochs fash propaganda machine.
Corporate dictatorship, doing corporate dictatorship things
I don’t buy the idea that these people are plain stupid. This fascist dictatorship is corporate led. The proof is in the allocation of funds.
They know their actions will kill the economic mobility of tens of millions, and tens of millions more will be plunged into poverty. They do not care. They are trying to irreparably destroy democracy and all institutions that facilitate effective governance. They wouldn’t be inflicting this type of damage on the electorate unless they believed they’d never have to answer to voters, or risk losing power, again.
Are you implying they care about the suffering of people within the US? Because they verifiably do not…
That doesn’t really change the fact that the damage the US can do under a fascist dictatorships trade wars needs to be minimized. The solution isn’t to continue enriching a hostile nation state.
The only chance America has at this point is national upheaval and likely civil war, otherwise the enemy within will remain and continue pulling the copper from the walls. You can’t magically deprogram 70 million people from extremism and mental illness. The cancer has to be cut out.
Might be good to keep those for the immediate future. I imagine offshore bases may have a higher amount of anti-MAGA’s, being outside the US media bubble.
When the US civil war pops off, sometime in the next 5 years, offshore troops may be more likely to join the antifa side, or maybe the EU can actively detain the pro-fascist factions as POW’s, and let the antifa factions organise support missions from friendly soil; at the very least they could more easily deploy to where they’re needed the most, with EU support.
“Stop forcing me to genocide you”
Can we skip the dog and pony show, and get straight to paying the orphan crushing machine directly?
It’s not. There is almost zero security improvement between a passkey vs a randomly generated password + 2FA.
The only concern is if you’re dumb enough to give away your password, or not activate 2FA on critical accounts.
You’ll find that nobody has a problem with passkeys specifically. They have a problem with the implementation, and companies forcing passkeys onto users who don’t want or need them.
I don’t need passkeys because I use a password manager. My threat model requires that I can restore my password manager, all 2FA, and regain full access to all my accounts from anywhere in the world, even if a natural disaster occurs and all my devices are destroyed.
Passkeys and SMS 2FA are a direct threat to my threat model, and I can’t help but feel they’re designed to further entrench surveillance capitalism, and the invasion of privacy as a prerequisite for security.
The EU would be mentally challenged if they weren’t already drafting a massive investment in STEM, and fast tracking American immigration.
Brain draining America of as many STEM professionals as possible is the best way to neuter the fascist dictatorship, boost domestic economies, and prevent adversaries like China scooping them up.
America is only a super power because the majority of Europes academics migrated between 1930 and 1950. They wouldn’t have succeeded with nuclear weapons or won the space race without them (especially Nazi rocket scientists).
