The mod was always the best way to play in VR, but it’s not a supported way to play because it’s a mod.

Venmo categorizes payments differently if they’re repayments between friends or payment for goods and services at the time it’s payed though, and everything I’ve found says they only count payment for goods and services towards the $600 total for the automatic 1099k.
That’s not actually how it works for personal payments, right? for example, a group of roommates using Venmo to split rent wouldn’t prompt Venmo to generate a tax form or report to the IRS.

That’s great for that dude, and I legitimately hope I can use it without problems on my own system one day too
The “extra steps” didn’t make it work for me sadly. I actually tried referencing this thread for solutions a little while ago too, but no luck 😕
Generally my experience as well. With gamescope, I’ve been able to get games to make the HDR setting available instead of being grayed out, but it’s clearly still not actually displaying an HDR image when I turn it on.

What’s changed here is now the Kindle and PC will actively communicate with each other during file transfers with MTP instead of the Kindle “pretending” to be a USB flash drive with USB mass storage. There are some important trade-offs that come with the switch to MTP but nothing that will stop you from transferring ebooks to or from a computer.
atocci@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•New Kindle e-readers no longer appear on computersEnglish0·7 months agoI like to rag on Amazon as much as the next guy here, but this article seems a tad misleading. They do still show up when you plug them in. The article even says they use MTP now instead of functioning as a direct USB mass storage drive, which means you can still plug them into your PC and transfer files though File Explorer. Android handles USB file transfers the same way, and that works fine.
It’s nice to know that even without internet, they still had Balatro ❤️
