I do it mainly for the reason because I am lazy. I don’t like having to think what I need to buy before I go shopping. If I eat the same stuff every week, I know what and how much I need to get and where to exactly find it in the supermarket.

You could do what I did: Install a second drive in your computer and install Linux (e.g. Linux Mint) on it. That way you can always go back to Windows should you come to the conclusion that Linux isn’t for you . But I have to say, being a recent switcher from Windows to Linux myself, the transition was really easier than I initially thought.

Why? It is an easy and secure way to identify yourself, be it for shopping or taxes or other necessary paperwork stuff, or anything else.
