“She continued that Munich had switched away from Linux because a new government got Microsoft to agree to make Munich the headquarters for Microsoft Germany.”

just human things…

manjaro, unless you can’t handle the plethora of meme type people telling you it is terrible, and downvoting you as if they have a point. It is the logical entry point if you want an arch base. https://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=manjaro

garuda is also decent, some of their versions are over the top shiny, but mokka, and kde lite are much easier on the eye. https://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=garuda

bluestar might also interest you, I have it installed, but haven’t looked into it much yet. https://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=bluestar

Even when I was back on windows, my data was always stored on a separate physical drive, I do the same now on linux, and will never understand why anyone would choose to store the 2 on the same drive (unless they only have 1 drive).

I didn’t use ‘my documents’ and I don’t use ‘home’ either. No doubt there are some benefits to doing so though.

Agreed, distro hopping is the best way to find what you like, and learn along the way, but if a distro isn’t easy to install, it isn’t for newbies, or for me a few years in.

“That said, the real reason behind CachyOS’s astronomical rise to fame is” people follow other people

The potential is significant for people with vision issues, but the glasses are the product of one of the worlds most famous creeps.

People are also uncomfortable about wearing glasses that look anything like pervert glasses.

Your comment seems deliberately vague.

Why do you wear these ugly sunglasses that fell from the sky?

Their post here says that they built it sis.

or consider not putting people on pedestals.

It just goes to show that ‘everything is only as strong as its weakest link’

What do you mean “besides the claude coauthor”?

How is it a claim, when it is clearly stated? (although not stated in the post here, because captain slop wants to pretend otherwise).

your ai will test it out

Agreed, but if passed it would set a significant precedent that would surely have to flow onto all/other digital media.

They were half arsing linux a couple of years ago when I walked away from them, and had being doing so quite some time prior to that, putting stuff on the road map, and then just leaving it there.

The success of protons marketing has made them the ‘privacy’ choice for people who cannot be bothered looking into things further = they must have a ton of customers by now, and should be very profitable, so can they still legitimately get away with suggesting they are just a small company and can’t fix everything… while they still keep releasing new products? (assuming they still are doing that)

“Working towards” typical proton bs re Linux functionality.

“brave” is joke?

Accurate analogy/train of thought… not.
