That code is now part of this February 2025 DirectX Shader Compiler release as they further build-out the DXIL capabilities. Developers outside of Microsoft previously reverse-engineered the hashing algorithm while now it’s officially open-source. This will help in situations like those compiling shaders for DirectX outside of Windows hosts or the selective Linux binaries Microsoft has provided in the past.

Absolutely. I can’t point out what’s so nostalgic about it and its graphics, maybe the gamma? the simpler minecraft? just playing on a controller? It also felt that the OST played at more fitting times then Java/bedrock edition.

I’m not sure about the downvotes part (i failed to recreate this lmao) but you can already view upvotes with mbin. Piefed solves this problem with a option to make your votes private but only with untrusted instances (but from my tests it didn’t work? weird)

Fedigrow is more for growing your own communities, no? Comm revival just kickstarts it dead communities, then it can be posted to fedigrow. Ie language learning was pretty dead months ago but it’s been revived now, so all future posts go to fedigrow
