Imo the free market will always be more effective than state planning. Also under a syndicalist economy syndicates mostly work with eachother than against eachother. Im personally an Anarcho Syndicalist, I belive that whats good for the syndicates translates into direct benefit for the workers and by extension society as a whole.

Im not personally a fan of the entire concept, I dont belive a vanguard is necessary and in many cases actively harmful. State socialism is very easily corrupted and imo the state should not own the means of production.

Productivity: Debian (you dont need up to date packages if all you do is edit documents)

Gaming: Pop_OS (especially when Cosmic releases)

It’ll probrally rely on DLSS so heavily that input lag will be crazy and image quality terrible. Genuenly I have no idea why they didnt switch to AMD.

As an Arch user, both Debian and Pop_OS are better choices than Ubuntu

As a Linux user this and posts like this piss me off. Linux is NOT and WILL NEVER be a replacement for any other operating system (except maybe Minix). By implying Linux is the same or similar enough to Windows you bring in Windows users who except everything to be the same. Fundamentally thats not a good thing for anyone, Windows users get confused and maintainers are encouraged not to deviate from Windows even in ways that make the OS better (for example KDE not going all in on tiling to appease Windows users). In my option Linux shouldn’t be recommended to anyone. Linux software maintainers should focus on the core Linux userbase and people who want their OS to look and function exactly like Windows/MacOS should just use Windows or MacOS.
