I can’t even blame Tesla drivers for not blinking, it’s awfully designed… it’ll stay blinking for too long, then if you try to turn it off by putting it a bit in the opposite direction, now you’re blinking that way instead.

kungen@feddit.nuto Linux@programming.dev•Security Researchers Find XZ Utils Backdoored Debian Images on Docker Hub2·16 days agoThat’d be an unusual setup. If you have users deploying containers on your host – that you trust enough to run whatever containers, but don’t want to give them ssh to the host – you’d usually have some kind of frontend such as Portioner, where you can have container exec and such.
Containerization is not virtualization. It’s very possible to break out of containers, especially if configured badly, or if there are any found exploits in the container engine or even the kernel. Containers are “good enough” for the majority of projects, but it has never been designed to be a truly hardened sandbox.
Basically, if you’re running an OpenSSH server inside a container, it’s likely that you’ve gotten the wrong ideas about securing your environment, and thus some old libraries in an old Debian image is the least of your worries.
Cool, thanks! I wonder where Google Translate got the other idea from.

I checked the same Wiki and I think no one can beat Finland’s one-word pangram: Törkylempijävongahdus (“the more you think, the more you’ll be able to do it”)
Ah, I got in. Just like the Swedish king, I’m actually dyslexic haha.
I’d love to be able to disable animations though. And be able to zoom when viewing image posts. And be able to view NSFW by holding in on the main feed (it seems like holding in on any image copies it to my Android clipboard?). And opening links via WebView or such instead of Chrome custom tabs could be cool, as I like how it’s basically a fresh session every time. And swiping to upvote is nice too.
(I know you didn’t ask for feedback, because it’s still really nice how it is now; just some ideas if you’re bored – no idea if it’s practical it’d even be implement this kind of stuff inwhat I think is a progressive webapp?) Keep up the great work! /Sent from my Blorp
Looks really nice! But do you have any debug for logging in? I’m 100% certain that I’m logging in correctly, but it says invalid login every time.
hard drive costs halve every 2 years or so.
Where did you get halves from? Maybe if you’re buying refurb/low-cap/shuck-drives on sale…? Not even the 2 year price projections (which are usually extremely optimistic) are anywhere near halving for higher-cap drives.
Even now, the only thing you’d get even nearing the optimal $10/TB mark would be a shuck-drive on sale as far as I can tell. Whereas the cheapest non-shuck is like $12.50/TB, but you’ll most likely be wasting tons of time RMAing it within a year anyways because it’s Sea*ate 🤢
Due to the Straits of Mackinac, the CBP considers it to be so.

DSM
Miss me with that American junk :P But with the same logic, would you also say that gender incongruence is a mental disorder? It’s in the same books, in similar sections. It’s faux pas to call something a mental disorder without focusing on why it’d be that.
The ICD (and I would hope the DSM) focuses mostly on the distress the patient gets from their condition. Someone’s attraction to kids, without any actions, isn’t enough to get diagnosed, as it’s simply a paraphilia. If they’re distressed by it, or act out, then it’s a diagnostic criteria and something they’d be able to get treatment for.
Nah, pedophilia is a paraphilia. And if someone suffers from pedophilic disorder, it’s kinda impossible for anyone other than healthcare to know that – unless they’ve made some attempts to abuse someone.

The law previously said “forbidden to have sexual intercourse with a sibling”, but they changed it to “forbidden to have vaginal intercourse with a sibling”. No idea if it was the (right-wing) government’s intention to legalize gay-brother-sex at the same time, but here we are.
