I don’t like the clickbait titles that DDN use but they do a decent job of reporting on stuff the MSM ignores.
The fact that in the UK you can be found guilty by a jury for vandalism and a judge can then unilaterally promote this to terrorism is chilling. If the Courts and Tribunals Bill passes the jury portion could be skipped altogether.
I think you’re jumping the gun a bit. They’re just saying that requiring a phone number added a barrier against spammers and they want to be sure this change doesn’t open the flood gates.
