I’d say also it depends on the franchise. Depp rock? Be a funny space dwarf yelling rock and stone? Hell yes imma do that with some friends.
God of war? No. Much more serious tone, I want to do that alone to explore the narrative
I go into gaming communities and see people hate on developers and I’m all like, dear God the fact that this works at all? Modern games are amazingly complex!
Blame the company for shortening timelines sure, but I never blame the devs.
I have a " no drag racing" sign near my home. It doesn’t seem to have had the effect they hoped for
Exactly. Even Meta and their thousands of lawyers would immediately say this. How does it harm people? Prove it does. Why are they singled out? They’re just showing content they think is relevant, and I’m guessing they honestly are. It’s that political groups take advantage of that, and make slop that enrages and inflames. But Meta would just say “you can’t punish us for trying to make our platform successful”. A mess all around
I mean, there’s a 99% chance this is running in a container, and so worst case you kill that specific container, which is immediately spun up again
How dare you, have some compassion, now is NOT the time to talk about Global “Warming” or whatever conspiracy you’re hawking today. Our thoughts should be with the people, we should be sending thoughts and prayers, and you just want to make it all “political”.

OBVIOUSLY THEY DESERVED IT BECAUSE THEY’RE A BUNCH OF HEATHENS
Oh yeah. We’re doing fine as a country. The sad part is we could actually solve this problem, humanity could indeed solve this if we put our minds to it and unified. We’re stupid dumb monkey brained though and can’t think of anything beyond “I got mine”
Yes, yes you really should
Ah yes, so the best option is to not vote and let them succeed unimpeded.
I’m all for voting for a better candidate, but we have a broken 2 party system, and it very much is if you don’t vote for one of the two main parties, you are pretty much just not voting at all.
I don’t vote for this person. I’m voting against that person.
That’s really the problem. When I friends from small towns come and visit I can see they’re on edge the entire time while I’m just doing what I do every day. Yes there’s a person sleeping there. Yes someone is screaming a block down. There’s traffic noise, and the subway isn’t the cleanest - but it’s normal, that’s what I’m used to. It takes a bit of thicker skin, but once you realize nothing is really unsafe about it it gets easier. Problem is voters from tiny 20,000 population places vote with that fear already, and think that cities are unsafe. We can’t bring everyone to the city and hold their hand.
A big question I ask people is “Why do we feel less safe even though crime is at an all time low?” Not a lot of people have answers, and I think way too many people aren’t aware of that fact. It’s one of the safest times to walk through any downtown core, yet people feel the least safe they ever have.
Yup title reeled me in, but even as an engineer… I tuned out after 2 sentences
