Conspiracy theories are an outlet. People need a reason for why society is not as good as they feel it could be.
Most people blame the other political party. But that doesn’t work for everybody. The mind keeps looking until it finds a reason, and then it fades out all arguments that oppose it.
We laugh about conspiracy theorists, but most have the same mindset, just with socially acceptable topics.
There is no general answer because by default, the majority wins.
For education, I would focus on a small number of communities and pool all resources to figure out what works.
Then use the desire of other communities for the hopefully existing improvements to spread the system.
It’s only the same if most people buy snake oil.
The problem is that most people buy snake oil unless they have reveived a good education.
Makes you wonder why the left is not improving education, even outside the school framework.
People only want to hear about their own problem. If you address all problems you repell everybody because nobody can stand listening to all of them, apart from an insignificant few voters.
Compared to the past it is.
India has shown that access can be provided to almost anybody. Not every country has the same access which I ignored because the topic is the future.
Then rent is also twice as expensive as needed.
The supply has to increase. Since politicians won’t organize public housing, renters could organize it on their own.
The future looks less bleak if the goal is not to live the life of that generation. There is AI, there are mobile phones, there is solar power and many more things.
When things are expensive, it means that few resources are used. This is good for the environment.
The big difference is that communication is free. We can talk to almost anybody in the world. This is still a huge untapped potential. That generation had a good life, but ours can be better.
Just shows you how low minimum wage is.
No need for envy. He owns enough farmland that he can easily top Musk by rising prices to let many more children starve to death.

The Waltons have to stay up to date unless they accept that Amazon takes over. Likewise, Bezos will work to keep his company in the lead.
Bezos bought a big house in Washington, not Florida. He will be busy all day most of the days.

It’s the essence of ego. Religion and society develop more and more into the direction of full ego expression. One person owning everything means that they can demand whatever comes to their mind. The ego thinks of itself as eternal.

Those are not the real owners but people who rent money.
There are always shareholders who control the board and who make the ultimate decisions. They decide when they want to meet but nevertheless I don’t think that they do much more than managing their companies which includes networking. So even when they don’t work, they will be ‘on’. No pity, they are rewarded more than enough.
