It lacks essential features such as playlist management, metadata sorting, or playback queues. While it supports music playback, it’s very limited and overall not a good user experience.
I’m confused. Shouldn’t you be using the music app for all this stuff? That’s what I do.

Unless it’s about a crime he’s involved in. Then he’s a machine that spits out I don’t know, we need to learn more, etc.

People are just grumpy at Biden and his team because they helped this guy get back in office. At the end of the day, it’s not about Biden. It’s about us being stuck with Trump.

All in all, Trump is lying yet again.
South Africa is a pretty violent place, but the odds of being better off go up substantially if you have a lot less melanin in your skin cells.
You’d think most of these Chinese manufacturers would at least run their UI through Deepseak first.

That said, I wouldn’t be surprised if we needed some sort of way to rigorously audit and report about shelter conditions. That way we could at least have policies that don’t blindly assume every bed is equal or safe.
At least it’s a public benefit company. That’s very different than Twitter, Facebook, etc.
IMO, Facebook was pretty great if you were a thirsty college student when it first launched.
But once that initial cohort of users started getting married, posting baby pictures, and luring grandparents to the platform, everything started getting pretty bad.
OP thinks that BlueSky will eventually get shitty and burn its users.
Jesus@lemmy.worldto politics @lemmy.world•California Governor Gavin Newsom demands cities force homeless people to move every 72 hours303·3 days agoIMHO, there is a fair amount of misinformation floating around this issue.
Newsom hasn’t been pushing to blindly kick people off the street with no where to go. The draft ordinance is about filling unfilled shelter beds.
So if you had 200 beds and 1000 unhoused people, Newsom wants to be able to clear enough encampments to get 200 people into shelters. Cities wouldn’t clear all the encampments, only enough to get close to filling the available beds.
And that said, that policy doesn’t really account for the fact that shelters can be pretty dangerous and worse than the streets. So although this policy sounds compassionate, it’s actually quite flawed.

She was part of a horde of people who broke into the capitol and started assaulting police officers and she was actively leading the charge through a barricade that was erected to protect people escaping the capital.
I don’t know how you watch those videos and think “yeah, she was innocent.”
Jesus@lemmy.worldto politics @lemmy.world•California Governor Gavin Newsom demands cities force homeless people to move every 72 hours34·4 days agoDoes anyone have a source for the 72 hour thing?
I don’t see it in the draft ordinance. https://www.gov.ca.gov/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Encampment-Ordinance-formatted.pdf
The draft ordinance basically says that, if there are available beds, a city can clear a campsite if they give people 48 hours notice and direct people to the available shelter beds.
Although, this ordinance does not address the fact that many shelters cause more harm than good. People are on the street because it’s safer for their wellbeing and belongings. No one seems to be talking about this.
Tech bros live on cold brew.
