79·2 days agoIn the 70s, it’s probably just a given.
Some would probably call stuff like that “woke”, but maybe “performative” or “pandering” would be slightly less politically charged.
This type of stuff is immediately what I thought of too. They will happily sell both sides’ identity and values right back to them.
Lol, I’m very curious to know why someone would buy a shirt that says “Corporate Greed”
It’s making a joke about how we relate everything to our previous experience, no matter how limited. Basically this meme:

Or, another example might be how every game gets described as “like dark souls”

16·3 days agoThe Japanese pronunciation is why they wanted to call him Puck-Man! It’s apparently from a Japanese onomatopoeia for a mouth opening and closing, “Paku Paku”

2·7 days agoLol, thank you. I had just been getting reports.
In the future, the spoiler tag works like this in text (I’m on the Voyager app, and this is how it sets up the tag. Using a screenshot so that the format is visible)

1·7 days agoWould you edit this to put it behind a spoiler tag?
Now that you mention it, the fact that men didn’t end up being the gender to wear high heels and suits with shoulder pads is a mystery.
I can see that too, however it just hits the ear weird to me. Like, it’s literally accurate, but I don’t know that I would ever phrase it that way over “sports idol”. Maybe I’m overthinking it though.
