Does anyone use Microsoft because they like the software? Because all I ever hear is “I need it for games”, “I need it for work”, or “It’s the only system that works with my hardware”.

One wonders what the market share for OSs would look like if people were able to freely choose what software they liked.

I just got my favorite game (Sekiro) to run on Linux! It wasn’t hard or anything, just the first time I’ve gotten a Windows game to run.

Boy, the new Far Cry game doesn’t look fun at all.

Windows users are a revenue stream, not customers. M$ views it’s users as a sort of raw material that can be processed with dark patterns for ads and subscriptions. And like everything else, Americans are treated with the most disrespect and coercion.

What men are afraid of is being gay. Sexuality research suggests that sexual preference is a spectrum, not a binary. So it’s common to have same sex attractions. Our culture will instill that being gay is the worst, before you even know what gay is. It’s also shockingly common for boys to be sexually victimized.

Many men question their sexuality. Now add in the nonsense of reactionary gender rolls with strict and rigid religious dogma and it’s no wonder. Being anti-gay is loudly signaling no-homo to the world.

This also explains why closeted gay reactionaries are the most zealous inquisitors. From their puzzle-piece perspective, indulging in gay sex is like openly committing a felony and getting away with it. Of course they hate the openly queer.

If M$ was smart, they’d develop a version of Windows optimized for gaming. But they can’t do that without implying that desktop Windows is inferior for games.

The crazy thing about this story is that people will look at this and think there is something wrong with her.

I just wan to add to this, in South Carolina’s deceleration of secession they refer to themselves and their allies not as confederate, or Southern, but as the “Slaveholding” states.

In the first document of the Confederacy, they self-identified as slavers. Which is why “Confederate” is too much respect. Call them by their name.

Expiration dates on salt and water are funny and all, but expiration dates exist because capitalists would disguise spoiled food to maximize profit. And it takes an enforcement regime to make them care about their customer’s health. Wasted food is still preferable to wasted life.
