Isn’t this the meme “I like pancakes” - “So you hate waffles?”
Recently went to a community organized meeting where we coordinated ICE watch actions, how to pressure our school board, care packages for those they release, etc. They also asked us to vote and to talk to our families about voting.
Isn’t that the point? That we shouldn’t wait for the DNC to act but take matters into our own hands? That’s not moping, it’s saying no one is coming to save us so we don’t need permission to act.
DNC will declare bankruptcy before they change their tune
Edited within the same minute, and carries the same sentiment. Newsom won’t save us, we save us. I literally just returned from a community meeting to respond to ICE escalating in Fresno California, and our elected representatives were absent. Continue chirping pal.
Homer Simpson: the lowest point so far
It’s easy when you don’t pay attention to the news.
It doesn’t. And pretending HRC or Newsom is popular won’t save us from fascism either.
Finally some good news out of Fresno.
But if people would just vote differently and stop doing purity tests then the system would fix itself /copium
Theory doesn’t work in real life.
Some of what they deleted is just taking out the trash.
If you want to challenge them without getting deleted, ask them why Russia doesn’t conduct themselves more like China when it comes to foreign aggressions.
Yeah, how dare she frame things with facts.
I suspect we won’t know their real state of finances until they go public and are held to a higher standard for their accounting practices: https://www.wheresyoured.at/anthropics-profitability-swindle/
Where did she say it was a republican that raped her? I agree it was likely the case but her report was one of stating facts, not leveling an accusation against all Republicans.
Because she used rape for political gains
that is what the people did to HER, they used rape for political gain. You are blaming the victim, sure not for getting raped, but for her talking about the facts on the matter. That is what I mean by a distinction without a difference because the function is to restrict her speaking out.
You are making a distinction without a difference. The fact of the matter is there is a political context to what happened to her. You give her permission to only comment on parts of what happened to her but not the entirety - that is self-righteous.
but the point is that using it to score political points, and implying that the fault lies with an entire political group, when her case is horrible, invites a right wing rally, and does the opposite of validating victims of rape.
Jesus fucking christ this is a vile thing to say. I guess women should not speak out about their experiences under a systemic rape culture because it might be perceived as political /s
Do better.
I would rather have 1000 millionaires than 1 billionaire
Did you bring your phone with you to vote? Or drive to the polls? Such data is for sale.
Maybe they meant Godwin’s law but now it is a fallacy because they really are nazis
The difference is Mike Johnson actually has the power to whip votes and put a stop to this.
