State Reps. Justin Jones (D-Nashville) and Justin Pearson (D-Memphis) have been stripped of all their committee assignments in the Tennessee House, according to a letter posted by Jones on social media Tuesday.
If I recall correctly Tennessee already expelled both these guys back from office in 2023 when they led a protest and then won special elections back into office. So this isn’t a new development for TN.
Gatdamn lol! Had no idea. Looked up Jones super briefly, found some similarly encouraging things, e.g. taking a charge for throwing a traffic cone into an open truck window that slurs were pouring out of, lmao.
