The artist really went out of their way to make it look like Batman was reaching into his batpants.
It’s where he keeps the batglue. For, uh, model airplanes.
Not sure if that even makes it better, still looks pretty messed up.
Batman took of his gauntlet so jason would see that they are the same, as in both have hands? I don’t get it.
I think Jason is mentally disabled and it’s so he sees Batman is only human just like him.

Jason thought he would have bat hands.
