They are convinced that “centrist” policies are the way to win elections and they detest Bernie Sanders and anyone who voted for him. They still blame “Bernie bros” for Trump’s win in 2016. They think the only thing wrong with Harris’s campaign was that she didn’t have enough time to get her message out. They basically want some of the same goals as Republicans around immigration and anti-“woke,” they just want them done in a nicer way that doesn’t hurt any feelings. No one will admit it, but I suspect most of them voted for Reagan.
